Pets & People Come One, Come All! TV Shoot at Whiskers: Fri 6/22 fm 12 to 4PM for The Dr. Marty Show:

Dr. Marty is our favorite holistic vet, and a renowned leader in integrative medicine for animals for over 25 years http://www.drmarty.com, as long as Whiskers Holistic Petcare has been in business. He is one of the first veterinarians to combine the best of both conventional and holistic medicine with powerful, curative results for health, and against disease. Delve into his book, The Nature of Animal Healing, to read about how his techniques have turned around cases of pets for whom the prognosis was dire.

Developments are underway to launch The Dr. Marty Show on TV. To produce a demo to entice full-out production for TV syndication, a first shoot is planned at Whiskers Holistic Petcare in the East Village on Friday, June 22, from Noon to 4PM.

Some pets will have the benefit of a free consultation by both Dr. Marty and Whiskers own expert advisor, Phil Klein, with recommendations for both holistic and conventional remedies, whether a cat, dog, rabbit, bird or reptile. Please bring your pets!

As some of you know, Phil is always available in-store and by phone for complimentary consults with customers and their pets. Now, Dr. Marty joins Phil’s corner for a lucky group of pets that get the advice of both. All will be filmed on-camera.

We’d love to have as many fans of Whiskers, mammals and otherwise, be part of the shoot. The Dr. Marty Show crew will interview customers about your visit to Whiskers, and your choices in how you care for your pets. If you can, please bring your pets! More details will be provided on-site on June 22nd.

Mr. Grey Needs New Home: Prefers Modern Design, Likes Books

Mr. Grey is so handsome, he will take your breath away. The Adonis of the moment, Mr. Grey finds himself in Whiskers Rescue Ranch, solo. Anastasia, the ingénue cat he met by chance, has flown the coop, so to speak, and has been adopted before he could blink an emerald eye. Now he awaits the right one to come along and take him home.

“The Ranch is okay, a little homey for my tastes,” says the attractive and confident one-year-old black-and-white cat. “I prefer modern architecture, you know, the whole stone, steel, glass and white leather look. A view is nice. I lost my funds in a Ponzi scheme, and have no choice in décor here,” he rationalizes. “I would hope that whoever rescues me from the Ranch shares my sense of design. The food, while not Per Se http://perseny.com/ is tasty, and the service is timely.  I’ve inferred that adding truffle oil improves everything but who’s going to listen to a cat in reduced circumstances?

“However, the height is nice and I can catnap without disturbance.”

Mr. Grey will wake right up for treats, and a nice stroke on the back. Large and lovely, he has a permanent Cheshire Cat smile on his beautiful face.
